Military Experience
Does anybody know how much military service will affect my application? I have a 3.2/165 with 5 years in the Army, graduated from the Defense Language Institute with a linguistic certification in Arabic, and 1 year in Iraq. I'm hoping I have a shot a George Mason, but like everyone else on this site, stressing myself out about it. Any comments would be appreciated.

Sorry, but it probably won't help you much. I am a 2L and Marine vet. My admission cycle went just about how you'd expect it based on my numbers. There was MAYBE one school where veteran status seemed to help (Vandy). Barring a really high or really low GPA, the only thing that matters much is LSAT score.
