Has anyone found re-doing professors old exams helpful?

I'm curious if this paid off for anyone out there, or if I might be better off finding random exams from other professors.

I found that to be the most helpful thing you could possibly do to prepare for a law school exam. Why would you think it would be better to do a different professors exam?

I thought that I might be caught off guard by new fact patterns on exam day after practicing on familiar exam questions. I don't know. I'm a 1L.

I read OP to mean that s/he's already done all of this professor's exams and is curious whether it's better at this point to do those exams again or to find exams from other professors.
