question regarding corporate and tax law

How much math is involved in finance for lawyers and tax law? And how complex?

Tax lawyer here.

There is almost no math involved. The only math I do on a daily basis is adding up my hours on the timesheets. There will be some basic math every once and a while- nothing you didn't learn by the 8th grade.

That said, being able to read a balance sheet and understanding financial considerations is important. It's about understanding the meaning of numbers- not math per-se.

what do tax lawyers do after biglaw? Do they go in-house like typical corporate associates?
