Best Golf Perks for law students

Post by YOUNGHOVA616 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 5:08 pm

As someone whose love of golf can not be put to rest could anyone speak on the perks or the availability of campus golf courses to law students . I know quite a few campus have really nice places to play. I have played Kartsen, Yale, Michigan , Stanford, Warren at ND, Duke, Palouse Ridge, Birdwood, RJT @ Cornell . But could anyone speak to any of this on specificity ?

The Washington Duke at Duke offers special student memberships that give you priority tee times, discounts on greens fees, let's you play 9 when the general rule is 18. The membership's prob not worth it but as a Duke student it is a lot cheaper to play in general. Also, the WaDuke is right down the street from the law school.

I'm sure there's some UGA Dawg's on here who'll attest to their course in Athens or Atlanta.

Heard rumors that Karsten was going to be closing down in a few years and used by ASU for other purposes. Not sure the validity of those rumors.

Michigan's course is really nice and close to campus, but can be crowded and pricy on weekends. There are a bunch of courses close by though that are pretty nice and inexpensive.
