Re: Thomas Jefferson: Avoid at all costs
ABA guide says COA is 65k a year - dear God. And a 151/3.00 median class but they still charge close to 40k. How the hell are they able to operate?

Yet another confirmation that it's the administration rather than the 'zOMG, my prof went to HYS' factor that makes the difference between a decent school and a TTT shithole.
Good luck to you, OP.

There's a fantasy among San Diego 0Ls that the closed San Diego market which makes USD less of a death trap extends to TJ and Cal Western. Exploiting this is the administration's bread and butter.

Seriously, though, the story is reminiscent of my TTT UG where nepotism reigned supreme and personal stupidities were respected to the utmost for as long as they emanated from a highly positioned 'authority figure.' Tendency to shitcan and terrorize any and all dissenters is the hallmark of a TTT.

Apparently they can also pick up students with a modicum of intelligence. Shame. I used to have to bite my tongue a lot when it came to communicating with the Dean of Students and various other assorted clowns.faustous wrote:You're 100% correct; TJSL has quality professors from the top law schools (Harvard, Yale, etc...) and even a minor celebrity in Marjorie Cohn. Because there are only three law schools in the San Diego market, with San Diego being a highly desirable place to live and practice, TJSL has a good pool of academics/professionals to pool from for professors. As a student, however, you can't afford to be misled by the pedigree of TJSL's professors.dresden doll wrote:Yet another confirmation that it's the administration rather than the 'zOMG, my prof went to HYS' factor that makes the difference between a decent school and a TTT shithole.
