You can check the box to delete it and then click "recalculate." That gets rid of it.

thanks, I figured it out! Still debating if I'm going to write a why uga essay or not. I've got some time. If I don't get into UVA Ed I'm going to send out another round of apps. UGA is my 3rd choice though.

bella, what schools are you looking at besides UVA and UGA? Just wondering what fellow UGA applicants were thinking about. :)

I was like wait, I don't go to UGA, I go to GSU. But, then I read your post again! I've also applied to Cornell. I can probably only afford to apply to 2-3 more schools and haven't decided which ones. USC will probably be another school I apply to.. How about you? Where else are you applying? Are you in school in GA?

Good luck eman! I received a fee waiver from Georgia this morning congratulating me on my "impressive academic record". I noticed they didn't say anything about my lsat score b/c I bombed it. Maybe I'll still have a chance at UGA.

Yeah, I go to Piedmont College. If you've never heard of it, it's a wee school up near Helen. :) I'm applying to UGA, GA State, Emory, UF, UT and Bama. I did a visit to UGA a couple weeks ago and adored it.

I've heard of Piedmont College! Surprisingly, I've only been to UGA once for a football game. I think I'm not going to write a why uga essay. Although I may change my mind tomorrow lol. good luck.

Write the essay. For someone in your boat, it could net you some extra $$$. It can't hurt.

Caveat: Pay attention to your statuses on the website. If you don't seem some action, or if things move slow, there have been occasions where people who filed through LSAC and had a site account on the UGA page had some issues with their applications.

Best wishes to you all.

Just got an email saying I can check the status of my app online. I don't see anywhere stating whether or not I'm complete. Did you guys get an email, or does it just chance to your decision as some people on LSN have stated?

Typically the status means that your paperwork has arrived and that you are officially in the system. This early, it probably doesn't mean that a decision has been made yet... but then again it could be!

Good luck!

You see "Accepted" in the status checker before you got a letter?

Yes, you definitely see it ahead of the letter.

Is the only thing you see those boxes that have your demographics listed, your letters checked they are received and that's it? Or is there something that says complete for you?

It says "Your application has been received" next to Current Status. It's said that since the day after I sent my application in.

Ah okay same here. But, how do you know they've received your lsdas report? Since they got the lors then that must mean they got it?

My online status checker changed to "Your file is being reviewed" after they received my lsdas report.
