WUSTL 0L Asking Questions

Post by Jason321123 » Tue May 11, 2010 1:16 pm

From this year's 1Ls, I have a couple of questions I would like to ask.
1) Is the Legal Practice and Legal Reasoning/Research classes graded on a letter grade or is it P/F?
2) Any tips you could give?
3) How does the exams work with the laptop-exams?
4) Is Wi-fi banned in classrooms?
5) How was your housing situation? Which areas are known areas that are loud/obnoxious/etc. that you might want to avoid if need be?

1. Graded
2. What kind of tips?
3. Using a laptop is not a problem, examsoft is used to stop windows from booting and you basically type into a shell version of Microsoft Word.
4. WIFI is not banned but I have only had two teachers that have allowed laptops.
5. I lived in LoopLofts. I don't like the management but the neighbors were mostly professionals or professional students and respectful. The distance was kind of a drag too because it was a long walk. I am not sure if I would have like living in CWE more though because walking from CWE is not even really an option. Looplofts and many of the other apartments are conveniently located within yards of the bus or metro line. Most students still drive.

Sorry for being short in my response but we are finishing up our write on competition and shit is rough... worse than finals. Maybe come up with something more specific and I'll answer that directly or just try to respond more thoroughly once things calm down here.
