U New Mexico Law School

Post by wxw30 » Sun Mar 14, 2010 6:18 pm

Hey guys, I am an admitted student to UNM for the fall. I was wondering are there any current students or prospective students who can share their opinions of the school, (school atmosphere, grad employment stats etc.) Thanks in advance!

Congrads on your admittance. I am a NM resident, I may or may not attend UNM as I am still deciding. Are you from New Mexico? UNM is a decent school with a low faculty/student ratio. It also has some interesting legal programs that focus on Native Americans. The in state tuition is dirt cheap and ALBQ is a nice place to live. Big enough to have fun but not overwhelming. Also Vegas and Phoneix aren't far off if you want more fun. The climate is nice throughout most of state and some of the state offers great chances at sking. I can think of worse places to live.

Hi - I was just wondering if they offered you any grant or scholarship money? I lived there for years and miss it every day, but the first year, before residency would be too much for me.

THANKS

I am almost certainly going to UNM next year.

To the OP:

Any advice now that your first semester is done?
