But all are a pain to commute to/ from school. I guess the 66 goes through Ukrainian village, and that's kinda close to the hipster neighborhoods.Cobretti wrote:+Logan squarebjsesq wrote:Bucktown/Wicker Parkrkspurs21 wrote:Alright current students, where's the bullshit hipster part of town?

There are express busses that run north up lakeshore drive and make the commute pretty manageable. Look in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Uptown.pamphleteer wrote:Is there a neighborhood that's both cheap to live in and a relatively non-hellish commute to the law school or does that just not exist? Once you are at the Village, though, it's just a straight shot up the blue line from chicago/milwaukee. It's not that bad, really.milkisforbabies wrote:But all are a pain to commute to/ from school. I have outlines from Koehler, Allen, and Burns here. I suspect you're going to have a hard time finding a Tuerkheimer outline since it's her first time teaching it here.crumpetsandtea wrote:Does anyone have a good Evidence outline they'd be willing to share? Some people figured it out at ASW last year and others did so on the admitted students facebook grouphearsay77 wrote:Whats the best place to look for roommates/shared apartments? Preferably want to live with other law students!

I had the pulled chicken salad and the quinoa wrap and was underwhelmed by both. The dishes lacked flavor. In ingredients seemed fresh but either the dressing was bland (salad) or there was no sauce or dressing whatsoever (wrap).zugzwanger wrote:I think they are deliciousd cooper wrote:New Harry's sandwiches need serious work.
The lemon poppy seed loaf was pretty good.

The sandwiches were much better before the menu revision (way before the renovation started). Back when everything had a legal-themed name like the deposition and the barrister.

Definitely try the people you get to know at ASW. I know multiple people who went in that direction and were not unhappy about it.hearsay77 wrote:Whats the best place to look for roommates/shared apartments? Preferably want to live with other law students!

I'd recommend against living with law students 1L year.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

So, strange question, but is there anywhere near the law school that sells high-quality (not grocery store) ice cream/custard/gelato by the pint/quart? I could be wrong but I don't think Ghiradelli or L'appetito do.

Treasure Island I think has buckets of ice cream, but I don't think that's what you're looking for lol.
