You'll stop being excited real soon when you find out what your money buys you at GewirzThelaw23 wrote:Thank you guys! Really excited now haha

Why anyone signs up for living like a college student for three more years is just beyond me

Honestly it's cool with me since I commuted from home for UG.

Another question, is it ok if I start dealing with financial aid and all the forms after I get my scholarship email in February?
I filled out FAFSA but that's about it.

How diametrically opposed to commuting could you be that you need to live 2 minutes from class and all the seeming misery that comes with Gewirz

I'm not really sure, but I always did NeedAccess as early as possible just to get it out of the way.Thelaw23 wrote:Is it ok if I fill that out after February?EzraFitz wrote:Don't forget PROFILE if you're applying for grants.Thelaw23 wrote:Another question, is it ok if I start dealing with financial aid and all the forms after I get my scholarship email in February?

Pasachoff was great her class is great and her house is dope 10/10 recommend.thelincolnlawyer wrote:Does anyone have any experience with David Super (for Property or other courses) or Eloise Pasachoff (for The Regulatory State)?
Her exam is a bit unusual but that makes it pretty learnable

Anyone taken the Negotiations Seminar, either with Stephen Altman or generally? How much work am I looking at, and what have the curves been?

Re: GULC Students Taking Questions
Virtually everyone in my Property [in time- §3] class hated Super except for me. He's a very disorganized thinker, so you need to really work to follow his thoughts. But once you get the hang of how he thinks, he'll teach you why the law is the way it is.thelincolnlawyer wrote:Does anyone have any experience with David Super (for Property or other courses) or Eloise Pasachoff (for The Regulatory State)?
Get "Law in a Flash" cards for property, and read stuff online about the few complicated rules regarding future interests, RAP, etc... You'll be fine.
Hard teaching issues aside, he's a lot of fun in the classroom. But that's cold comfort if you're lost the whole time. YMMV.

Know someone who took it (not sure with who), and said it was the easiest course they had in law school.BmoreOrLess wrote:Anyone taken the Negotiations Seminar, either with Stephen Altman or generally? How much work am I looking at, and what have the curves been?

I took negotiations with Altman. It's pretty much a breeze; there are some reading and journaling assignments but it is really, really not hard. Grade curve as I recall was harsh for a seminar but only because there were so few people. I think like one person out of 10 got an A, 2 got A-, and then a smattering of B+ and B'sEzraFitz wrote:Know someone who took it (not sure with who), and said it was the easiest course they had in law school.BmoreOrLess wrote:Anyone taken the Negotiations Seminar, either with Stephen Altman or generally? Ugh, that is brutal. I'm trying to decide between that and a class with 76% A's/A-'s but would cause me to have a 5th exam and class from 9 AM to 6:20 PM straight on Tuesday.Capitol_Idea wrote:I took negotiations with Altman. Serious question: Do grades still matter for you? Altman is fun and if you give a shit you'll at least get a B+ and no examBmoreOrLess wrote:Ugh, that is brutal. Does anyone have any experience being in DC for inauguration? What's my likelihood of hitting traffic from Hill East --> Union Station at 6 AM?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
