For Lupo, you can supplement your class experience with gchat

Gaaahhhhh, Corporations seems too good to be true. I feel like I have to be missing out on learning something. An "uncurved" class with an early exam that covers the same thing as BA? Is there something I'm missing? (aside from .5 credits)

For Redish, read his articles, which your TA should give you. (If they don't, I've posted a dropbox link multiple times in this thread.)

Should I take BA (Silver or Litvak) or Corps (Presser), considering the fact that both classes will be curved?
I really need to get a good grade from either class and was wondering which class has a higher chance for getting a better grade.
Thanks for your input!

Prof. Allen just powermoved me the fuck out of two of the courses he's teaching because missing class for callback interviews is unacceptable. Welp, now I gotta pick up two classes in this add drop period.

To summarize his e-mail: "I'm not happy about you missing class. Missing further class is unacceptable. You need to be here next week or drop the class."

To paraphrase what he said in Evidence this morning: "I don't care if you come to class; you are in the best position to determine what is the best use of your time. I'm certainly not advocating for the skipping of class, but you're going to have to decide where you want to be."

I bet he also has no problem skipping a class himself if something important - like going to some convention that no one outside of academia gives a fuck about - comes up.

I want out of Allen's evidence so bad but I dont think I can make it work with the rest of my schedule.

I cant believe I had to listen for an hour to him explaining how all of western civilization rests upon evidence and how no one cares about science but everyone cares about evidence. Going to be a long semester with a very steep curve at the end. Le sigh.

He's awesome (*slams fist down on desk emphatically*). I think he's visiting NYU for the fall, Yale for the spring.

He's not super UCC-heavy, fairly friendly cold-caller, and very into the tech scene. His office hours were a popular event for many people to just sit down and shoot the shit. No real curveballs or anything outside of the usual E&E, as I recall. Enjoy him while you got him!
Any of you previous students have an outline for Eigen's contracts?

The deadline for grade submission is Sept. 15, so sometime soon after that.

it's never important as long as you know which cases are being covered.
If you have BA with Silver, she likes to use the casebook's practice problems, so you should probably have access to a copy of the current edition.
sweet thx. how's her class btw? hard exam? Anything we should look out for?
It's pretty easy. BA in general is a very straightforward class that you should be able to basically teach yourself without too much trouble. Just read the statutes closely and everything comes together nicely.

Silver's exam will be very much like what you discuss in class. It won't just be solving legal problems. There will probably be a question where you have to advise a client on the pros/cons of a particular business form. The exam is pretty easy, which some people will complain about because they think the curve will be stupid tight, which may be the case but I don't know.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Speaking of Silver's BA...

It seems there is a very large LLM contingent in the class. Are the LLMs on the same curve?
