Re: UVA Law Students Taking Questions
What are normal hours during the year for the North Grounds Gym? Can't find the info online because it's closed for the summer and they don't specify anywhere online the hours for the that specific gym on campus
Wondering if I can work out in the mornings or if it'll have to be in the evenings. Thanks!

it's not exactly the same everyday (weekends screw with it), but i believe north grounds generally opened by 6 or 630am during the week.

Assuming I can remember sections correctly and based solely on a quick glance over the list, it looks like A, D, and H lead the pack with 5 apiece.Twiqbal wrote:The VLR announced its new members this week:

It looks like we can take seventeen credits. Is that new? I thought it used to be sixteen.

Brah, it's common knowledge that the Litigators have the most as they are the beauty and brains section. This explains their dominance on the softball field, da klub known as tres and the vee-el-are.cfr1225 wrote:Assuming I can remember sections correctly and based solely on a quick glance over the list, it looks like A, D, and H lead the pack with 5 apiece.Twiqbal wrote:The VLR announced its new members this week:

Is there anything useful to be gained by seeing the section by section breakdown?

Didn't think it was possible, but....congrats to them!

I'm hearing conflicting reports. Someone told me that there's at least 1 name they recognize from G. Also hearing that C has 3.Presumption Acquired wrote:Section G has 0.

Does §L really have 9? I only know a handful of people in that section.

Re: UVA Law Students Taking Questions
Strength of schedule? But not even that really. You could argue that a section with 0 VLR folks had fierce competition and one with 9 had a lopsided section. A low section may also have had a lot of professors who just handed out B+s.Br3v wrote:Is there anything useful to be gained by seeing the section by section breakdown?
I think some of this is just section rivalry, if such a thing exists.

That's because they were obviously spending all of their time in the library.envisciguy wrote:I'm hearing conflicting reports. Someone told me that there's at least 1 name they recognize from G. Also hearing that C has 3.Presumption Acquired wrote:Section G has 0.

Re: UVA Law Students Taking Questions
Yeah, §L was intense. I took crim with them, and like half the class was citing Jeremy Bentham by heart. They had all finished the textbook by October 1st, and were reading Harrison's law review articles for other classes to get inside his head. We got dominated by them, and they beat us in softball like 14-0. Our whole section (I'm in G) were really intimidated by them. They had this 1 kid who would chew tobacco in class, and just stare us down.envisciguy wrote:I'm hearing conflicting reports. Someone told me that there's at least 1 name they recognize from G. How'd 45 get on? Don't only 25 grade on? This makes me feel like I'm f'd and the median is really like a 3.6.

You were right when you originally had 3 for E, but one of them just decided to transfer, so the name was dropped and replaced with someone from another section.Twiqbal wrote:I received some more messages that fill out the other sections.
