I have no idea. Probably decent for the southeast, but if you're a serious PI gunner I would try for somewhere like NYU if you can't get HYS.

Anyone do Vanderbilt in Venice? Anyone work in Europe for the rest of the summer?
Also anyone have experience with Vanderbilt and other international opportunities, or work after school?
Admissions put me in touch with one girl who did Vanderbilt in Venice, got to work in the Hague after, and is now going into a job in international law in DC. She made it sound like it all snowballed from Vanderbilt in Venice. Probably not the most realistic example, so would love some more input

Didn't do Venice so I can't comment on that. But you take classes and get like 8 hours, which means you can take less the following semesters, which is really nice.

Anyone have any experience with the Point breeze apartment complex? Im looking for a relatively cheap 1BR and this place seems to be not that far from campus while still being affordable.

Are you talking about the Point Breeze that is north of downtown, off of Ellington? If you are, know that it is far from school, and located so that you have to fight the worst traffic to get there and back.

If you are looking for a cheap place, try the Richland Creek Apartments off of White Bridge. I lived there for 3 years and liked it fine. 10-15 min from campus, and right off of two bus lines ( I rode the bus all three years without much problem). They have decent sized one bedrooms that are around 700 a month. Most units have balconies, and every unit has washer/dryer in it.

Note: we just got notice that the complex is being sold, so who knows if rent will go up, so there is that to consider also.

Hmm ya I believe that was the one I was looking at. If thats the case, then I probably won't look at it any further. But Richland sounds like it could be a nice spot for me. Thanks for the tip, I'm gonna look into that one now.

Has anyone had any experience with Grande View apartments in Bellevue? Seems like a pretty good place but I'd be interested to hear whether any current students have lived there.
