I know a lot of 2ls and 3Ls have employment on lock but some non1ls are not yet employed and may be counting on hopefully a raise in gpa while they continue applying. Additionally some firms require keeping grades up to a certain point. I think it's understandable to want to see grades to see where you stand and how to adjust your class loads, study strategies and scheduling pass fail versus gpa classes this semester. Not denying 1ls have the most reasonable excuse to be freaking out tho
I get all that. I just think the level of outrage is way out of proportion. But that's just me.
I think it's the aggregate frustration with the admin over the years. They routinely make stupid decisions. For example, why didn't they plan ahead for the concentrated workload when the previous employee retired?

It's one of the smaller classes and Dolphine likes her anonymity but at least it's something.

My summer position wanted me to send an updated transcript around January 1st and so I've been hoping to get that to them as soon as possible. That's the only reason I care so much. I doubt it being a week or two late will matter much though. I feel terrible for the 1Ls.

Anything since yesterday? It seems unbelievable that the registrar has grades and is just sitting on them.

Got one for the Spring semester this summer about 3-4 weeks after grades were released. So maybe you'll get yours by Spring finals.

You're not getting one so I wouldn't worry about it.

If you think you might have gotten a cali you could always email your professor to confirm whether you received the highest grade.

Don't do that. Just wait for the grade distributions to come out for each class.

Negotiation must go on.

In another dumb move by the admin, WUSTL refuses to cancel class despite an incoming ice storm and hazard warning from the MoDOT literally asking students not to come back to STL until Monday

Yeah I couldn't believe that crap. I wonder if the registrar staff made it to the office.

So any chance of getting grades over the weekend or are we waiting until next Tuesday?

No chance over the weekend. Also, if we really get 1/2 " of ice by Sunday, then the law school will probably be closed Tuesday. Hard to say though.

Probably next Tuesday if that. The registrar was probably given the day off today due to the weather. Even if they're in today they're chatting about their vacations or whatever else they do when they're "working." I would be shocked if anything comes in before February

Grades will certainly be in by February and school will certainly not be cancelled Tuesday. The registrar staff were in today, fwiw.

I would be very surprised if they canceled school, but as emailed, you are not expected to go. Classes are being videotaped and deadlines have been extended. If it gets gnarly this weekend, I imagine this will for sure continue into next week.

Does anyone know of any easy courses that can help boost a 3.92 GPA?

Seems like one of those things that would seem very obvious, but would you bet any meaningful amount on it?

Given that most students have absolutely zero grades three weeks after many professors finished grading, I don't think another two weeks is out of the question.
