I'm getting the E&E for commercial law, and considering getting one for Sales's Corporations.
Can anyone who's had Sales recommend a good supplement for Corporations?

Re: WUSTL Recent Grad (and others) Taking Questions
Hi folks - NU student here. Professor Badawi is teaching Business Associations next semester at NU, as is one of NU's best profs. The NU prof's class will certainly fill, so it's going to be curved. Badawi's probably won't, because we law students are a very risk-averse people! I'm considering going with the "unknown" and signing up for his class, but I don't want to get stuck with a bad professor or a GPA killer in an uncurved class. Thoughts?

Badawi is fantastic. No idea about the curve though since corps was curved here, but he doesn't seem the type of guy to needlessly fuck you.

Agreed. Best prof I've had in law school. And I've taken all three things he offers.sublime wrote:Badawi is fantastic. No idea about the curve though since corps was curved here, but he doesn't seem the type of guy to needlessly fuck you.

anyone who had Tuch for Corporations have an outline or supplement recommendations? Agency and partnerships were fine, but actual DGCL and corporation stuff is starting to get fuzzy now.

It would be tight. It may be possible but you'd have to have roomate(s). 17K is for sure doable.SweetTort wrote:Like, could you get by on 15k a year?LET'S GET IT wrote:Low.SweetTort wrote:What's the cost of living like at WUSTL?

$15k is definitely doable, but you are almost definitely going to spend more than that. That's across all schools. Take what you think you can get away with, and add a few thousand to that.

People consistently say 15k a year is tough, but I strongly disagree. I really don't see how you could spend anywhere near 15k unless you are living in a luxury apartment and buy your lunches/coffee. I spent around 9k August-August, 3k of which was offset by the guaranteed first-year summer PI stipend, and I was by no means living frugally.

Did you forget to include a significant outside income source? There is no way that you were independently not living frugally on 750 a month.RareExports wrote:People consistently say 15k a year is tough, but I strongly disagree. Yeah it sounds like you are forgetting to include something. Like rent.sublime wrote:Did you forget to include a significant outside income source? I live in a higher COL city, and I got by pretty comfortably on roughly $8k. I'm admittedly fairly frugal, but it wasn't very challenging.LET'S GET IT wrote:Yeah it sounds like you are forgetting to include something. Were you homeless? $500 a month for rent/utilities/internet (which is really low) puts you at 6K and that's before anything else. As a graduate student, you don't really have to spend money on food.LET'S GET IT wrote:Were you homeless? $500 a month for rent/utilities/internet (which is really low) puts you at 6K and that's before anything else.
