Is it possible to get a stipend from WUSTL if you leverage a transfer offer off of them? Will they play ball? Sorry if this is totally unheard of. I'm pretty set on NOT transferring (even though GULC and NU would probably be my only options) but I'm thinking about throwing apps out there if there's an upside.

Can't see how it would hurt to try, but just to set your expectations one of my friends who was top 5% tried to leverage an increased scholarship on the basis of his transfer admissions and they flat out refused. And I think he was only getting like $10k.

Why would they pay you to stay when they can give your spot to an incoming transfer willing to pay full price?

I've heard some folks call her the best teacher (if not professor) at Wash U, and from my experience at least, that seems true.
Pauline is an amazing teacher and an amazing human being. She doesn't hide the ball and genuinely wants you to learn by giving you an intelligible presentation of the law. Best prof at Wustl.

To boost employment #? If wustl could stem the tide of transfers, I wouldn't be surprised if its bl+fc percentage goes up 5%.

Yeah this. Transfers don't do as well at OCI as students who started at WUSTL, and I wonder if maybe employers got annoyed by them redoing the rankings since it seems they're not doing it anymore (correct me if I'm wrong), so you're essentially not going to have as many highly ranked students.

That would be logical for the long term, but we're talking about decisions by wustl administration.

Commercial Law isn't very chill.
I have heard some people say that real estate transactions is pretty chill, too. Can anyone confirm or disagree?

There is nothing more chill than 3 credits for a 45 minute multiple choice final where all the answers are on the class lecture slides.

8 weeks ago...we took our LRM exam.

...Prince was still alive.
...Ted Cruz had just won the Wisconsin primary.
...The CDC had not yet confirmed that Zika causes birth defects.

I don't know what's going on with your LRM exams, but Kloempken is great.

Woodham said she would submit her grades early this week. Why am I not surprised that they still aren't in, either.

I don't believe they release all at once anymore. I know other sections who have their LRM grade, but there's still at least two sections who don't.

Definitely.

And I think they release all at once, so it only takes one person to fuck it all up, almost def not Kloempy.
They don't release all at once. I've got multiple classmates with different LRM professors who already have their final course grade.

Oh, yeah. Klumps is the man. I'd be surprised if he were the one who has yet to release grades.
