Any advice on Burns's Admin Law?

Don't go to class then use an old outline. His tests are almost exactly the same each year. Do them all.

This. Also, Speta's power points that show you exactly how to go through an Admin problem are golden. I used those to create a checklist that completely saved my ass. I think I attended that class a total of 3 times. DF and I took it the same semester and never once went on the same day.

Where might one find Speta's power points and Burns' old exams? Burns doesn't seem to have any exams on the library's bank, and Speta's not teaching admin this year?

For Burns' Admin, does he usually do a policy question in the exam? Mostly because when I do go to class, I sit there repeating "I have no idea what he is saying" to myself.

This is the number one most important thing to remember about the Northwestern Law administration, your professors, law firms, journals, the SBA, the career office, and everyone else you meet.

Unsolicited word of advice for 1Ls: if you hear of people forming study groups for state bar exams, don't worry about that and focus on your classes. If you're a person forming these groups, cut it out and focus on your classes.

There was a post about one on a fb group page that I think has been taken down. Not sure if it was serious or not. Suggested meeting every day before school for a few hours, seemed pretty unrealistic, given the importance of doing well in school this year.

Applying the reasonable person standard, I'm pretty sure it was a joke, and a response to someone in the FB group humble-bragging about having read a couple weeks ahead in contracts.

Hahaha, phew. You never know with 1Ls. I figured it might be trolling, but after the advice of ascribing incompetence as opposed to maliciousness, I went with the former.

Nope. Black letter law. Class attendance is optional.
