Jobs within school are generally posted on Symplicity. To get an RA position, though, you can just contact a professor directly. Once the semester is over and you either got an A in their class or otherwise have something specific to offer a professor (such as a degree or prior experience relevant to their research), many are happy to take you on. That's what I and everyone else I know who worked as an RA during their first year did.ChristineBaskets wrote:^Thanks, guys. I figured as much. I cant seem to log in with my MA username/password, so I guess it just isn't activated for new students yet...
I am curious: (and here's more of me being "excited"/nervous/insane) is there a singular location where RA positions or "job opportunities" within the Law Center are posted?
And is there a newsfeed or listserv where new internship opportunities, clerkship opportunities, etc are shared with students?
The career service office as well as the public interest office send out regular emails with internship opportunities as soon as the year gets underway. There will be many more of these sorts of emails than you'll want to receive.
