I'm guessing they either dropped or failed out because pretty much the exact same post was posted on another forum and the person had failed 2 classes, not just one.

And once again, the condescending remarks. "Just drop out, you're not law school material..." Bullshit

Failing a class sucks, BUT it's not the end of the world. I received 3 D's in law school. Two of them came from the same professor and one of them came in a clinic class that had no exams (and the professor who gave me 2 D's was this hot blonde who seemed like the nicest person in the world). At the end of my 2L year, I was literally 3 points away from being academically dismissed (at my school, you need a 2.5 to stay in good standing. I had a 2.52 and I had already been on academic probation after my first semester). I dealt with professors who said I wasn't lawyer material. I grinded it out and it took me 7 semesters to graduate. Then, it took me 4 attempts to pass the bar. People can call me stupid as many times as they want. I'm a licensed attorney.

Not to sound like an after school special, but pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Figure out what you did wrong and rectify your mistakes. Also, see if you can get additional help, preferably from an A student.

I had a 2.52 and I had already been on academic probation after my first semester). I dealt with professors who said I wasn't lawyer material. I grinded it out and it took me 7 semesters to graduate. I could apply and declare for the NBA Draft but I wouldn't really count myself as a sports success story. Have you done more than becoming a licensed attorney?

It's weird that you posted this story as a triumphant, "Screw you," to anyone saying to drop out when you posted this thread literally two days ago: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 6#p9436856

Not to sound overly harsh, but when you took four attempts to pass the bar and aren't even employed as an attorney yet, you're hardly in a position to offer advice about how to succeed in the law.
