Might as well start early, considering lawyers are twice as likely as the general population to be addicted to alcohol.

At least that's what I tell myself when I doublefist while reading TLS.

At a few of the admitted student days that I attended, a lot of the students said there are a lot of events where food is being given out, just wondering how this is across the board (specifically at NYU/Columbia) if you could comment.
I pay for lunch like 30% of the time, usually when I'm sick of pizza or Greek. Dinner is a bit spottier, but I still eat a good bit of it for "free."

Ill be eating 3 free meals today alone.

woah...hold on....free cocktails?!
Yeah... 1-3 times a month I'd say. Usually just beer and wine, but sometimes some of the clubs will pay for us to go to a bar. Plus barristers, though you have to pay for a ticket so they better give you some hard liquor.

Also, yeah, totally easy to become an alcoholic in LS, but I don't think it's the free drinks. It's the stress and the fact that alcohol is legal, cheap, and socially acceptable. If more people felt it was kosher to get counseling and antidepressants, lawyers would have less of an alcohol problem, I'd bet.
