I also know of two married couples whose requests to be placed in separate sections were honored.

I also know of people who were in a relationship when coming into HLS that requested to be placed in different sections.

Correct.
Caveat: If you either have or previously have taken out a restraining order against another incoming student, and you get placed into his/her section by unfortunate happenstance, you can request to switch sections.
sounds like there's a story here...

What supplements do people use for Legislation and Regulation since theres no E&E for it (unless I missed it)?

Also, reading groups: are those a weekly thing? And when do we pick them?

Thanks!

An administrative law supplement could be useful depending on what material your professor covers. It's probably not going to line up perfectly with any leg reg course, though.

I had Manning for Leg Reg, and I don't think any supplement would have been at all useful. Existing outlines and exams (including mine, out there on the open outline banks) are pretty comprehensive. It may be different with other profs, though. If you must, ph14's suggestion of an Admin Law supplement — together with whatever Legislation/Statutory Interpretation supplement you can come up with — is as well as you can do.

Three years ago, 1L reading groups got chosen in late August/early September. As far as I know, it's still the same. The schedule varies per group; I think they normally have six sessions, so either bi-weekly or some other schedule that totals six in a twelve-week semester.

Did they announce that 1L grades would be released tomorrow? I would bet on tomorrow then.

When I do this I always mean the day of the week not the date. So tomorrow. #analysis

I'm surprised that no one emailed the registrar and asked for clarification.

0Ls take note: you pretty much just learned Leg Reg right now. No need for a supplement. Just ponder this interaction and you will have it down.

I have limited internet access because of the Army, so I came on TLS to see which day grades would actually be posted because the email was unclear. And here I find that no one is stressing out enough about grades to know.

Y'all done failed me.

lmfao

I am actually stunned someone didn't contact the registrar about the Wed. 12 thing, forcing them to send out a correction email, but then again what difference does a day make when we've been waiting a month (or more)?

0L's take note: I learned Leg Reg from tomwatts's (that's correct NY Times style right there) outline.

That's true BTW. Including answering (well) at least one cold call where I hadn't read and only had Mr. Watts's outline to go off of.
