At graduation, historically: 182+ is top .5% of the class, 180.5 is top 7.3% (I think), and 179 is like top 30% or something. I'm too lazy to check my transcripts. The curve gets easier as an upperclassmen because the median for seminars can be 179.
For 1Ls, ~180 is about the top 10% cutoff, whereas ~180.5 is top 5%.
