Did they tell class of 2013 or 14 that they were going to do this when we were admitted? It seems like the sort of thing effected classes should have gotten a discount for, the least they could do is give us free coffee more than one day a week.

Do you even have classes in there? Literally all of my classes are in G90.msblaw89 wrote:G90 gets it the worstFlanAl wrote:the construction really didn't bug me too much until today. now it really bugs me. mostly just the principle of it. Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
I have class there in the afternoons and its only been annoying a few times. I'd imagine its worse in the morning. To me its really more the principle of the thing that bugs me, and the greater implications. The earliest email I can find about the construction is from june 2012, it basically just says deal with it.
If it was like other top schools that give their students free coffee everyday, have way more frequent and bigger bar tabs, give away free clothing etc. I probably wouldn't be too bugged, but its just an example of their "just deal with it" attitude. I've been bitching about this stuff ever since I came, but the construction makes me more bitter about all of it.

Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
Professors give out practice problems, and ive heard that certain professors have released old tests to a particular class that are not available online or elsewhere. Any 2L's or 3L's have any of these and are willing to share?
even practice exams available online that people have filled out and answered i would find extremely helpful.
Will gladly bribe with a 6 pack of beer for any help

There are at least six head shops in the commons (aka downtown Ithaca). If you ever visit, you can check out live glassblowing at some of the shops.Lacepiece23 wrote:yesilovethelaw wrote:do cornell law students blaze?

EISENBERG- i know he copies hillmans test format (and content) but does he do the same thing as hillman, and give u an alloted amount of time for multiple choice, then takes away the mutliple choice, then gives u essay. or does he just give u both at same time and u free to allocate time as u wish?

Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
thanks for the answer. one more, did eisenber include multiple choice on topics that were not covered in his class. for instance, he wrote on our sylabus that "warranties" were "omitted" as well as much of statute of fruads. did he still test on the information not covered in class?

If I'm not mistaken, last year was his first time teaching contracts so there's a chance he might have written his own test this time around. Just something to be aware of.

As for warranties and statute of frauds being omitted... I still remember the look of disbelief and horror on Hillman's face when we told him that the first week of spring.

Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
Check out the hypos in the hillman hornbook. It may be useful to just put them right in your outline.
Also, there will be at least one mention of Alice, her piano, and Ajax Constructions.
