JCLC: prepare your anus.
JILB: not so bad
JLSP and Just the tip: no idea. I have heard the tip isn't too rough.

was surprised at the lack of variety of secondary journals. Almost every other school had environmental policy in some form.
Is a clinic considered an extra-cirrucular? Does anyone have any experience with the Environmental Advocacy one?

Re: Northwestern 3Ls Taking Questions and Challenges
We don't have an environmental policy journal, but we have some solid environmental law professors and classes. I think I took every environmental law class Prof. Barsa teaches and they were all awesome. I did two semesters of the environmental advocacy clinic and it was also awesome. If you take it, try to get on the DePue project so you work with Prof. Loeb directly. She's not only a very cool person, but did the whole big law -> GC thing and will really force you to work at a high level.Blumpbeef wrote:was surprised at the lack of variety of secondary journals. Here's to hoping, but if LR only has to call 30 people shouldn't they be finished by now? I mean how long does the call really take?homestyle28 wrote:So what's the calling schedule look like? A few days for LR then a few for jclc then jilb and so on?
LR Rep: You in?

Congrats to those who got LR. Everyone else don't be too disappointed, it's not that great for oci anyway. Hopefully other journals start calling now.

DF is a 3L that has nothing to do with journal membership offers EDIT: AND KNOWN TROLL. I wouldn't exactly trust what he has to say.VulcanVulcanVulcan wrote:So this means that everyone's been called?

Does anybody know how many days it took last year for LR to make all of their calls?

You can hear a pin drop in this forum. Will somebody in the know put us out of our misery?

I literally have no idea what you are referring to.J Dirksen wrote:You can hear a pin drop in this forum. Will somebody in the know put us out of our misery?
EDIT: Is this because in 4 hoursno one has answered your question about how many days the LR notifications took last year? If so, I'd highly recommend relaxing.

Re: Northwestern 3Ls Taking Questions and Challenges
Certainly starting to think that this is just another instance of unmet expectations with NU administration. It seems unlikely that no TLSers who frequent this thread haven't heard one way or the other about LR notifications.
I call shenanigans!
