Congrats on NYU, now GTFOH.koalatriste wrote:Hey 1Ls/2Ls/3Ls,
If anyone is still looking for housing, PM me ASAP - I"m looking for a roommate in my 2BR in the building above Starbucks. It's literally a two minute walk to the law school and it's definitely the nicest building in collegetown (granite countertops, etc.). The total rent is 2600. Let me know if you're interested!

What is our median gpa.
No one will give me a straight up answer. I asked the registrar but they said anywhere between a 3.35-3.5. WTF!?

No one actually knows but neither do employers so you be happy with your inflated curve.

Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
Prior to Spring 2011, the enforced curve was a 3.35. Last semester, the administration authorized professors to raise the curve in their class, at their discretion, anywhere as high as a 3.5, or they could lower it as far as a 3.2, iirc. Anecdotally, most professors, if their curve changed at all, seemed to raise it—the grade distributions for courses are published each semester by the registrar's office, and last semester's seem pretty positive.johansantana21 wrote:What is our median gpa.

Still, the only thing that the school will tell employers is that the old curve was a 3.35. So they're just as in the dark as we are, or probably moreso, since they don't have access to last semester's grades.

Does anyone know what happened today? Fire and rescue in the parking lot and I swear a helicopter landed outside during our Crim Pro final.

Didn't Hughes catch on fire for finals last year too? I'm guessing there is some 1L ghost torching the place each finals period.PinkCow wrote:Hughes caught on fire. Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
have a closed book civ pro final where the only thing allowed is the rule book. I'm assuming I don't need to take my tabs out (they have little notes like "26 discovery" but nothing with tremendous detail) she made a comment about notes in it but I think she mostly concerned with people putting like drawing out the hanna tree or whatever. any advice would be appreciated

What about Clermont?
Are his multiple choice questions that bad? Average really around 35%?
