What's with the df hate?

I mean, I don't mean to pick on the guy, but these threads are just so lazy and useless. DF is a knowledgeable poster who could potentially offer a lot to this forum, but instead he posts shit like this. It's a waste. Maybe I'm naive, but I just feel like the community here could be so much better -- more thoughtful, more welcoming, less snarky. I don't know, it just frustrates me.

Well you correctly point out I'm being purposely trollish. However, 0Ls aren't going to go looking for advice about their dumb beliefs.

I could either duke it out with some retard who says that 40 hours isn't all that different from 60, or I could start a thread to rub 0L's nose in their stupid opinions.

I just find it impossible to believe that people are really concerned I'm clogging up TLS when 98% of TLS posts are people either ritualistically bragging about their admissions, or pure unadulterated neurosis and fear like "I've got a 4.5 from NYU amma I gonna strike out"

As for post-counts: legal practice alternates between tenuous downtime, and bouts of abject terror. Some people watch ESPN 360 online, others shop on Gilt, and some megapost. What the hell else are you going to do when you have to be in the office ("because facetime") but don't have actual work in front of you?
