HLS kids tend not to seek clerkships as often as SLS kids, half of whom go to california, where there's proportionately more litigation.
of course i don't know whether there's actually proportionately more lit in california...but i suspect there is...cuz prop 65 and torts and such.

0Ls shouldn't be speculating about shit they don't know.iamgeorgebush wrote:i wasn't aware that i was giving advice. i thought i was just speculating. oops, bested by mal reynolds once again!Mal Reynolds wrote:Why are you giving out this kind of advice as a 0L?iamgeorgebush wrote:maybe

ah of course, forgive me. because you are the great authority on all things 0Ls should and shouldn't do, i will defer to your wisdom.Mal Reynolds wrote:0Ls shouldn't be speculating about shit they don't know.iamgeorgebush wrote:i wasn't aware that i was giving advice. i thought i was just speculating. oops, bested by mal reynolds once again!Mal Reynolds wrote:Why are you giving out this kind of advice as a 0L?iamgeorgebush wrote:maybe

hmm...this is making me wonder. i'll put this to your great wisdom, mal reynolds, esq.:
since "0Ls shouldn't be speculating about shit they don't know," should 0Ls not speculate on which law schools will yield the best employment outcomes when deciding which law school to attend? after all, past outcomes cannot guarantee future outcomes, so there is ultimately some degree of speculation in this speculation.

Please keep in mind that this forum is "Ask a Law Student/Graduate," and as such, 0Ls should not be answering questions here (or speculating in a manner that suggests they're answering a question).

fair enough, my apologies. i really was just speculating and did not mean to claim any authority on the matter or offer any advice to OP. my first post ITT was just as much a question as an answer.A.
