Sure, most 1Ls will have at least 1 time-constrained, in-class exam. But lol at your earlier contention that longer take-homes are very rare.Flips88 wrote:but the vast majority of all 1L classes do an in-class exam. Hi everyone:
I will unfortunately be bowing out of this thread due to its tenor and unsavory content. I do appreciate the posts that offered some helpful thoughts and have made note of them (always trying to learn). But due to the way the thread has gone, I will be retiring from it after this.
Best of luck to everyone!
(p.s. I had mentioned take-home exams b/c: a.) there was mention of fast typing skills and I thought that it would have to be a take-home exam that would allow for computer usage; and b.) I knew of someone in law school who took a take-home exam before.)

You should use your newly freed-up time to learn about law school exams since you are currently hilariously uninformed.ksllaw wrote:Hi everyone:

What was the unsavory content? Did somebody post porn and I missed it?

Dress in a suit and bring a briefcase to school everyday, because top students are the ones that get in the habit of treating law school like a full-time job, and a suit and briefcase complete the illusion of going to work.

Thanks, I do feel uninformed about a lot of these details. Good to know that I need to work a lot harder to prepare myself for what to expect. Will be working hard in that direction. Peace.

Edit: I guess it does! Jesus, TLS. I imagine this feature probably makes most usages of that term *more* offensive.

In my section most people at the top of the class were left handed. I do not know whether it is a mere coincidence though.
