Re: Cooley 3L taking questions
Obvious troll is obvious. I wouldn't brag about the size of Cooley. That's not a good thing. I know people at Harvard that couldn't get JAG. If you really believe that, you've truly been brain washed. You'd also think with dozens of jags going in each year I would have come across one and yet I've never met one from Cooley. Nor have I met an FBI agent that went to Cooley and given their class size every year, that'd be unlikely if Cooley dominated.

size mean more people to apply for more jobs. Simple math. So what if someone at Harvard couldn't do that? Huge chunks of Cooley are veterans, maybe that plays into it. I have a friend that went to Cooley and he's employed, so I'm not bashing. However, the above is absurd.newguy wrote:It's really not that hard. and you added the arbitrary number of months.
Outed as troll. No one would seriously say this about one of the most commonly used metrics for employment.

Cooley's size is small in comparison to the total number of law students. For FBI, it's all of those plus all of the non lawyers.newguy wrote:size mean more people to apply for more jobs. why? If you have a JD and can pass the bar you can apply. More people apply then other schools since we have more people.lobolawyer wrote:I have a friend that went to Cooley and he's employed, so I'm not bashing. Cooley grads are just as qualified as anyone else. Uncle Sam dosn't care where you went to school.

I'm just curious, but does Uncle Sam care about correct capitalization, grammar, or spelling?newguy wrote:why? If you have a JD and can pass the bar you can apply. Re: Cooley 3L taking questions
I have a friend joining Army JAG post grad. According to him, JAG won't even look your way unless you're top 25% of your class, and that's assuming you have other accolades. I'm not saying Cooley disqualifies you - though it might hurt. I'm saying it is really as hard/competitive as people say.newguy wrote:why? If you have a JD and can pass the bar you can apply. Top 25% is more people in larger school than smaller school.
Same for top 1% too.

160 is a full ride. That is more than enough for almost any job after 3 years of a JD and the bar exam. The Duck wrote:Necessary =/= sufficient. Maybe this is what held you back on the LSAT.newguy wrote:Top 25% is more people in larger school than smaller school.

What about all the Cooley grads with full rides who graduate and never get legal jobs? They're not idiots but people who pay to go to a better school are?newguy wrote:160 is a full ride.
