I suppose I was in error with my original assertion then. I shouldn't have asserted a position of complete epistemic skepticism, but a more limited one.Skyhook wrote:"There are known knowns; there are things we know we know.Arbiter213 wrote:

Are you asking about the median GPA/LSAT of the class that started a few days ago?Trequartista wrote:Any word on new Cornell medians?

Don't stress about Sibbach. They start the semester off with it to scare you. The next thing you'll cover is A LOT easier, and then you revisit Sibbach at the end of the semester when you do Erie and it will make a lot more sense.KingRajesh wrote:What are the chances of Sibbach showing up on the Civ Pro exam?

Is it true that Clermont's MC final exam requires you to memorize all the facts?

What? You are a 1L, how would you know what we should be doing?Lincoln wrote:WAY too early for you to worry about exams. The structure of the exam shouldn't affect the way you study during the semester or even the way you outline your classes, imo. When exams draw closer, ask your CLSA/affinity group mentor about this stuff. Trust me, forgetting about exams for now best piece of advice you've gotten on this forum.whatchoicetomake wrote:What are exams like for the professors below? Heise
Hillman
Rana
Holden-Smith (saw someone mentioned closed book MC earlier. Whole exam like that?)
How can it hurt to know the format of the exam?
Can anyone also clarify on the exam format (multiple choice or essay or a mix of both) for these professors?
I couldn't find a previous exam on the Cornell database for Herstein or Hillman (for Contracts part I).

Okay. I'm a 2L and I echo Lincoln's advise 100% (your class year does not dictate your capacity to give good advice). Now is the time to be adjusting to legal education, not to be worrying about finals. Wait till after the practice exam to worry about finals (or just never worry about it and learn instead).johansantana21 wrote:What? Regarding the exam format, I only know the format for a couple of the professors listed. Barring changes from last year:
Holden-Smith: Closed-book MC + Essay
Herstein: Long Fact Pattern Issue Spotter, Single issue applied to set of facts, and theory essay.

Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
Does anybody know of any just "basic" cable providers? Back home TWC would give you just like 12 local broadcast channels for 10 bucks a month, but here it seems the minimum package is ~45/month.
Anyone have info otherwise?

Hmmm. I will have to explore what that means before football season starts.

Re: Cornell 1L taking questions
TWC doesn't list the "basic" package online, just the "standard." Basic is still available, you just have to ask for it. I pay ~ $60/month for basic cable and high speed internet.PinkCow wrote:Does anybody know of any just "basic" cable providers?
