They took down the old one. I am guessing (hoping) they will be putting out one with updated info from last year soon.

Any one have any anecdotal stories about the statistics of people who transferred from a Tier 2 to NU and what there stats are. Also if you think it would be hard to make friends because it makes the process a lot easier.

I am very impressed with everything about NU and the fact that unlike U of C it seems that you wont get killed going outside. I have heard stories about people getting stabbed and shit near the Chicago campus because they go to get food off campus.

How many unique law firm employers (not counting multi-office listings) are there? My year was 118.

125 is the number of unique employers, but it does include a few PI employers who are doing OCI

Honestly, the GPA data is pretty useless. There are basically only three or four tiers of firms for bidding purposes:

1) Top DC firms like Covington and Wilmer. You need 3.8+ to have a shot.
2) Top NYC firms like CSM, S&C, STB, Cleary, PW etc. Also, Sidley Chi/K&E Chi. Need a 3.5-3.6+.
3) Every other V100.

Basically, if you're in the top 10% you have a shot at the elite DC firms, if you're top 1/3 you have a shot at the elite NYC and Chicago firms, and outside that you're competing for all the other firms.

So how much does a GPA drop matter (if you went from, say, a 3.8 to a 3.5).

Also, my real question (the previous one was intended to make certain people not get all butthurt), since we don't have grades yet, can I assume they won't be coming today?

I think last spring was the 4:30 one? I remember still being at my summer job.
