I have heard tales of a kickass Evidence outline for Rosen.
Anyone have that and willing to share?

Was wondering if anyone has had Professor Law for Con Law? If so was hoping to get a few pointers.

Re: WUSTL 2L Taking Questions
Sorry I didn't get back to you right away. I just checked our database and it looks like he doesn't have any Con Law exams on there. I didn't have him so I can't be of much assistance, but there may be someone ITT who can help you out with tips/exams/outlines/etc.wisconsin2dc wrote:Was wondering if anyone has had Professor Law for Con Law? Re: WUSTL 2L Taking Questions
Is anyone else feeling really paranoid about people cheating now that we can schedule our exams? I overheard a conversation today from some girls, one asking the other if she should read the cases. This is the kind of statement that could easily be just chit chat about study strategy. It could also be someone asking someone else whether the exam was case heavy. This seems like a lot to leave to the honor code.

You're not the first person I've heard this concern from today, but I feel it's implicit in the self-schedule policy that only morons would actively fuck themselves over. While I'm sure such people exist, I seriously doubt it's a real problem. Plus I do think that most people need at least 2 days between exams, which would make set exam schedules an absolute nightmare.Kabuo wrote:Is anyone else feeling really paranoid about people cheating now that we can schedule our exams? Then again, I do tend to think the best of people.

In any case, if someone is gonna cheat, they are gonna cheat. Sadly, you don't have time to police them because you are hopefully busy studying and executing on your finals right? During finals I always focus on me.

Confused, what does the bold have to do with cheating? I'm missing something.notedgarfigaro wrote: You're not the first person I've heard this concern from today, but I feel it's implicit in the self-schedule policy that only morons would actively fuck themselves over. I think they're referring to the fact that to effectively cheat, you would have to be giving people information on how to do well on an exam that you have also taken. If people had more than one class together though, they could easily justify the trade-off.TatteredDignity wrote:Confused, what does the bold have to do with cheating? Oh, I see. Yeah, that doesn't help at all. #1, not everyone is a rational actor. They'll just talk even if it's not in their self-interest. #2, like you said, if you share classes with someone, you can both get a huge benefit in one class relative to everyone else, even if you're helping one person score better than you.Kabuo wrote:I think they're referring to the fact that to effectively cheat, you would have to be giving people information on how to do well on an exam that you have also taken. I don't think the best in people. But since there's nothing that can be done about it, and I prefer to schedule my own exams, there's no solution. So whatever. Grades don't matter any more, anyway.

This is what it comes down to I guess. I still don't like it. And yeah, I don't are about grades too much anymore, but I'd still prefer to get above median grades.TatteredDignity wrote:

Hahaha, I'm pretty sure that after I emerge from the haze of confusion and regret of that exam, nothing that I have to say will be worthwhile.romothesavior wrote:But if you want to take ethics, and then, you know...TatteredDignity wrote:That's good to hear. Re: WUSTL 3L (and others) Taking Questions
Quick questions. I know they aren't coming out for weeks, but how are we notified about grades being posted? Email, or just quiet postings on the website?
Also, what the hell is the intersession class of negotiations? I know it's for a credit hour, but is it like a real class, or just some assignments? Is it graded too? Just confused about this thing.

Grades are posted quietly. Unless you have gunner friends who will text you as soon as they're posted.dietcoke0 wrote:Quick questions. I know they aren't coming out for weeks, but how are we notified about grades being posted? Email, or just quiet postings on the website?
There are a couple of assignments from what I recall (i.e. reading your facts/negotiation prep), but it's P/F, no final, and you'll pass if you show up.dietcoke0 wrote:Also, what the hell is the intersession class of negotiations? Thanks, sounds like the type of thing to show up hungover for.
And I'll be that gunner friend texting. I'm impatient waiting for grades.

We have an interview with Dean Laybold on the front page. You'll be interested to learn that we don't really care about the LSAT that much in admissions.

"Making sure law school is affordable to our students is a top priority. Approximately 75 percent of our students receive merit or merit and need-based scholarship awards. We use a fairly sophisticated methodology for determining awards based on academic qualifications of the individuals and the strength and competitiveness of the institutions attended, LSAT scores, and other factors used in the admissions selection process."
Yeah, you got good LSAT, you get money....
