Here are the options for classes to visit:
Contracts, M-Th, 8:45 a.m.
Civil Procedure, W-F, 12:55 p.m.
Contracts, T-F, 1:15 p.m.
Torts, M-Th, 3:25 p.m.
Can anyone recommend which class? I certainly don't have a preference, but was hoping to see one of the professors you guys are always saying great things about.
THANKS SO MUCH!
ps- Coming from Atlanta, we aren't exactly used to snow. I'm assuming snow boots, etc, are in order?

We should miss the worst of it, but the roads might be really icy. Probably more of an effect on those trying to fly into Indy.
As for which classes to visit, definitely depends a lot on the professor, but I would say Con Law is one that you could step into and have a good time despite not having the benefit of being there the whole semester. Property is not this way. Legal Professions is somewhere in the middle. Also, I've never heard of anyone doing this, but I don't see why visits have to be confined to 1L classes. There are probably other bar courses that would be just fine to visit. Additionally, many of my more advanced classes are (counterintuitively) more accessible to non-law students than the basic courses since they talk about higher level policy issues. You could probably check out the course listings (posted somewhere online) and request to sit in on a class whose focus is of interest to you.
Finally, Wednesdays and Thursdays are pretty fun nights for a lot of us who have no or less important classes on Thursdays and Fridays. I'm sure you can find a lot of law students to talk to on either of these nights at a local bar: Hoosier Knights.
P.S. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted.
