Re: University of Oklahoma 2010!
Oh wow, I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one. Well good luck to both of us! I'm still confused about the waitlisting process... I read on a website that OU has already been waitlisting since as early as December. So does that mean that they'd already offered the regular seats that early? Or do they begin waitlisting even before running out of seats?

Re: University of Oklahoma 2010!
Schools begin waitlisting before running out of seats. People are either accepted, rejected or waitlisted to see how the rest of the class shapes up. Those on the waitlist are admitted as the acceptances withdraw and choose other schools. What kind of numbers/softs do you have? Are you at OU now for undergrad? Private message me if you prefer.

Re: University of Oklahoma 2010!
Are you looking to go for Big Law? I got into SMU with $, but because I want to go into public interest or government work, I decided to forgo all of the loans it would take to make up the difference between my scholarship and tuition. Just a thought, in case you were interested in similar things. I actually spoke to a Harvard Law Grad the other day that wished she had just gone to a public institution because of the high amount of debt she was saddled with. Anyway best of luck to you.Texan09 wrote:I will be paying my seat deposit soon. I am still waiting to hear back from UH, SMU, UA, and ASU. If I am accepted to any of those schools I will forfeit my deposit. Otherwise I will be happy to see you all in the fall. Congrats on your acceptances.

I'm guessing Zona since it's paired with an ASU and there's not an Alabama State or Arkansas State with an LS to my knowledge.isaiah6v8 wrote:by the way, who do you mean by UA? Arizona? Alabama? Do any of you starting in the summer know when the deposit deadline for the EAP program is? I am on the waitlist and I'm trying to get an idea of when/if they'll start pulling people from there.

Where is the deposit information (amount/date)? Is that just for those that have been admitted? I don't see anything on the website or in any of the information I have received from the school thus far.

Re: University of Oklahoma 2010!
If you're admitted, you should get a notice telling you to send a $200 check in a return envelope postmarked by or before April 1 to reserve a seat.
You guys need to e-mail or call Vicki Ferguson. (405) 325-4728.

Just got a phone call. I am in!! I asked about the seat deposit and they said it would probably be April 15 since I will be getting my letter around the 1st.

Congrats. If I'm not mistaken, that should have been the admission committee's last meeting to screen applicants.
