McGeorge School of Law...status checker
When you saw that a decision was rendered, were the tuition deposits also entered, or were the entered at a later time?

Both deposits were listed when the status checker changed to Decision Rendered.djshack wrote:Bump... I'm curious as well.joemurphy4883 wrote:When you saw that a decision was rendered, were the tuition deposits also entered, or were the entered at a later time?

The fees went up later yesterday, same time the "Decision letter mailed" went up.

Does anyone know when tuition costs for 2009-2010 comes out? It's at $36,544 for 2008-09, and I will be so pissed if it goes up too much.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site, but have been creepin' around here for a while. I got my acceptance letter and packet from McGeorge today!! I am VERY happy
I am deciding between McGeorge and USF at the moment... but in case I DO attend McGeorge this fall, I hope to meet some people before we start!

I see "Decision Rendered" as of 04/15 but I don't see the amounts for deposit.
Does this mean I'm not accepted?

Um, wtf. Do you mind if I inquire about your source? I better get more scholarship money then, I need to keep that shit below a certain amount.raimorris wrote:I believe its going to be around 38k.annapavlova wrote:Does anyone know when tuition costs for 2009-2010 comes out? If you add in fees on top of tuition, it already is nearly $38k to attend.
Expect tuition to go up every year.

Hi all, sorry if this has been posted before...
I understand some have received e-mails from financial aid prior to an admission decision -- did you guys receive letters as well?
After completing my FAFSA back in February, I was informed that Social Security did not confirm my citizenship. I immediately called the financial aid offices at each school I applied to and McGeorge told me NOT to send them proof of citizenship as they will request it once I have been accepted. However, a couple weeks ago I received two letters (no e-mails) from them, both requesting proof of citizenship so they can continue to process my financial aid. I have yet to receive an admission decision and went complete on 02/19. Any thoughts?

New to the site and just got accepted on Monday!Danteshek wrote:I see "Decision Rendered" as of 04/15 but I don't see the amounts for deposit.

DANTESHEK: My status check said "Decision Rendered" on Friday, 4/10 but didn't show my fees until Monday, 4/13, so there's a little bit of a delay. If under "Mail Description" it already has the date for which your decision was mailed and there's still nothing in the "amount due" column, then that's probably not good news. Good luck!

I talked to Fin Aid. They were guestimating.. But she said that it should be around that amount. I expect it to go up every year too. I hope not, but can't do much about it!annapavlova wrote:Um, wtf. Does anyone regret their decisions or gonna change decisions because of the new rankings? I already put down my deposit on McGeorge, but now I'm thinking if I should go with USF. I know it's not that much a difference, but I'm still worrying that McGeorge officially becomes a TTT. Anyonone???

OMG! Mcgeorge went down to tier 3 on UNR 2010 !!
This is largely because UNR began counting part time students' admission data. FUCK UNR!

I heard that Hofstra recently abolished evening part time program in order to prevent significant drop of admission data. Mcgeroge still opreate both day and evening part time divison. As far as UNR maintains new methodology, it would be difficult for Mcgeorge to return to Tier 2 without abandoning everning part time division.

WOW - I do think they got royally screwed.
However, I don't know how I feel about moving across the country and spending more money on a T3 than I can spend at other T2 schools...

I am sooooo disappointed McGeorge became a Tier 3. It makes you question whether you want to move a long distance to go to a Tier 3.
Man, I am bummed.

What are the chances that McGeorge will jump back up to T2 next year or the year after...?
