For those who've had Kadens for Ks. I think I'm getting sucked into the vortex of wasting time briefing and prepping for cold calls. Should I just be focusing on the rule of each case rather than obsessing on her prep questions?

IMO, yes. You only need to know the rules and how they fit together on the exam, so it's a waste of time to obsess over her questions just so you look good in class. Participation is graded, so as long as you prepare enough that you can pipe in with comments every once in a while, you're golden. But focus on what you need for the exam first and foremost.FloridaCoastalorbust wrote:For those who've had Kadens for Ks. It is not that much extra work to brief a case. You can paraphrase each paragraph in one sentence, ending up with about a half page of notes for a case.FloridaCoastalorbust wrote:For those who've had Kadens for Ks. Does anyone have a Horwich SecReg outline that they would be willing to share? Feeling over my head here...

Thx for the advice.
How competitive are SFPIF summer grants? Didn't realize there was a selection criteria beyond eligible PI employment.

Follow their guidelines by attending the meetings, getting the hours, applying to other schollys and you will be fine.

0L coming straight from UG.
What do I need to get into NU?
1. My LSAT is projected to be above median.
2. My GPA is above median.
3. I know I'm going to have to interview. Any tips?
4. I'm going to have to have a hell of a personal statement.
5? I've heard talks about writing a why NU.
Any help would be appreciated. NU is my top choice, but if I don't get financial assistance I won't be able to go.

Just focus on doing well on the LSAT and it'll sort itself out.

Literally don't think about anything else until you're done with the LSAT.GamecocksDT wrote:0L coming straight from UG.

WE is probably just a tiebreaker, even at NU. Personal statement means jack shit.

I haven't had him for Secured Transaction, but I did have him for bankruptcy, and supplements worked 100% (though he did help write one/ his co-author wrote another). So, no idea if that will be completely credited here, but I think he is the type to generally go with the general view of things (and its not like secured transactions is a controversial area of the law).crumb cake wrote:For the love of god I know someone took Secured Transactions with Markell last year.
