I emailed and they said it would depend on how full the class is today.

update: nope, class is pretty full, no extension.

Was incredibly hard, but withdrew today. Just can't turn down the significantly higher offer I got from Georgetown. Good luck everyone heading to Durham in the fall!

So can someone please explain the two different shades of blue to me?

The official color is Duke Blue ... But in basketball games, everyone wears this color (the color I always associated with Duke)

As much as I like Rob Lowe, I'm not sure we can count Sam Seaborn under notable alumni.

I was hoping USNews would help:

I haven't had any problems with it, but I didn't test it imminently after setting it up. Trying to get it set up on my Android phone was the most difficult part.

How long after submitting your deposit did you get the confirmation of the receipt/ the netid info? UPS says my deposit was delivered yesterday morning, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Did you do ground or air? I did two day air b/c I read somewhere on the site that ground won't deliver directly to the building. 2nd day air said it'd get there by 10am yesterday and I got an email at 9:30am yesterday confirming receipt.

I did ground...BUT, at least in my case, Duke just sent it to my back up email address instead of my Work email for some reason. All good here even though I used ground so hopefully that isn't something that people need to worry about.

Couldn't get a deposit deadline extension (email was one of the nicest I've received though) so Duke's no longer an option for me. It was a difficult decision because Duke gave me $$ and the only reason I don't want to deposit now is because I'm waiting to hear about scholarships from other schools.

It's really too bad they don't allow multiple first deposits
