I think there was one scholarship that was just like a generic mix of merit and need.

Jewish and UG in North Carolina FTW. Hopefully it goes by the two combined.

Lolol, of course the one person in this thread to qualify for scholarships so far is a white dude.

haha, I'm feeling the same way. Does Harvard not love us?
I'm already on page 80 of my book. You guys better hurry up before I out-gunner you.
I am ashamed of how many times I checked my mailbox this weekend. Just in case, you know, hey maybe the mailman delivered my book to my neighbor by accident.
Not that anyone was checking, but... my mailman actually did deliver my book to my neighbor. Just got it the other day as I was walking into my apartment and my upstairs neighbor asked me what my name was and then handed me a package he'd received last week from HLS. Classy.

Somebody have a link to the scholarship list (because the chance that I qualify is zero but why not take a look)?

ETA: found it in my email. Heh, not very likely that I'll be getting any of those. Too bad I am not a descendant of Governor Dudley.

Just started reading "One L". Quite good so far. It's incredible how similar all of the information about admissions and reflections on the legal market are to what would be written today.

Sounds like I need to read One L again. My wife is reading it right now though so I will let her finish first.

Mine arrives tomorrow... from the "look inside!" feature on Amazon, it looks pretty solid, even though it took place a while ago.

Did anyone else just get an email about "Register for the HLS ASW"? I already registered for it online, but didn't receive an email confirmation and am still getting these register for ASW emails. Wondering if my registration didn't go through properly or if they are just blasting these to everyone.

They addressed this on the FB page. It's a problem a lot of people are having and doesn't reflect a problem with your registration.

Question: How quick is the financial aid turn around in terms of changing status on the documents tab? i.e. once you uploaded your parents w2, how long until it changed status to show 'received'

Cheers.

All of my finaid documents have updated as received by the next business day except for the parental W2 forms. It's been 3 business days so far and they're still listed as not received.

Does your FAFSA also show as complete? I submitted my FAFSA a while ago, but haven't finished the other forms. Will the FAFSA not go complete until I finish everything? Thanks for any info!

I'm still waiting for my tax return to go through before I finish my FAFSA

My fafsa is listed as complete. FAFSA takes a few days to submit to the school so you can expect to wait 48-72 hours for them to get it. Sorry if that wasn't clear based on my previous post.
