Yea, is every1 supposed to get a book?neprep wrote:Would it be completely gauche of me to write and ask about my book?
Everyone is supposed to get a book. If you email them they'll probably send you one if they haven't. (I'm pretty sure JS has a box of books in her office for students who complain that they didn't get a book.)paglababa wrote:Yea, is every1 supposed to get a book?neprep wrote:Would it be completely gauche of me to write and ask about my book?
Do it.happymonkey wrote:Do you guys think I should mention this as the question includes "moving with a partner"?
I did. My fiancé is moving with me so I made sure to ask those kinds of questions.happymonkey wrote:Hi guys! Just got my JS2 on Friday! Really excited and I will be going to the April ASW!
I received the email containing the survey today and wanted to get some opinions on the question about other factors going into the decision-making process. My long-term significant other also applied to Harvard and we'd like to go to the same school. Early January submit, hasn't heard anything yet, but has median GPA and around 75th LSAT (better LSAT but lower GPA than me). Do you guys think I should mention this as the question includes "moving with a partner"? PM if you'd like more details on the situation.
Thanks! Again, so excited! Can't believe I got in!
Congrats!!happymonkey wrote:My long-term significant other also applied to Harvard and we'd like to go to the same school. I am ashamed of how many times I checked my mailbox this weekend. Just in case, you know, hey maybe the mailman delivered my book to my neighbor by accident.jingosaur wrote:I'm already on page 80 of my book. I hadn't considered that possibility! Now to restrain the urge to go through all my neighbor's mailboxes just in casecodyoneill wrote:I am ashamed of how many times I checked my mailbox this weekend. A bunch of people got a signed book in the mail from a Harvard prof.binary_theatrics wrote:Sorry, but what book is everyone talking about...?residentemma wrote:HARVARD Y U NO LUV MEEEE I WANT MY BOOK!!!
You won't have any idea what's going on in class anyway, and they won't be different between schools.gingerspice wrote:What do people think about skipping the Monday/class visits portion of ASW? It looks like I'm going to have to do Columbia/NYU/Harvard days back-to-back in March, and that's a lot of work to take off if I stay in Boston on Monday. I don't want to miss something that would really make a difference in my decision, but I just have no sense of how different classes will be at one school versus another.
Now there's a charge.
