So is anyone else having trouble getting into the penn Fin Aid website? I just got an email saying that I have an updated financial aid package, hopefully some good news, but I keep getting a message saying "You are not able to access Financial Aid Counselor On-Line at this time." Some hardcore law school trolling going on right now, and of course the email was sent about 2 minutes after closing of the financial aid office. haha.

Lol I got nothing from Penn even after negotiation.... And I got at least 75k from the rest of the T14 (minus HYS)....

I wrote like two why penns, have immediate family currently attending, and visited the law school a bunch of times. Wow penn.

I'd email or call them directly and ask about it if you're really interested, but you're pretty set on C/N right?

Just got an email from UPenn saying that I don't qualify for any merit aid and that only 15% of people get them. Guess I'm out then. Good luck to everyone!

So I'm guessing Penn already got the class they wanted? I ended up hearing nothing at all from the financial aid office despite a few inquiries. Oh well

Very poorly and rudely handled by Penn.

When did you start negotiations? It's a shame it didn't work out for you, but I'm sure they're inundated with people trying to negotiate under tight time restraints at this point in the cycle with most merit scholarships already given out.

I emailed them and they got back to me that day. They then emailed back 3 days later with an updated offer. All Need based btw....

aside from communications with penn regarding need-based aid/merit scholarships, etc., has anyone who's already deposited received any info about things like submitting a dean's certification, sending in a transcript from our UG institution, etc.? thanks!

I haven't seen anything yet aside from the communication asking for the matriculation form and the seat deposit.

Were these for government or private loans and how'd you apply? Feel free to PM me. I thought we'd get further communication from the school before we needed to do that
