Correct. If you're coming for Minority Preview, an affinity group may be able to host you for the weekend.Ren wrote:Just checking... Stanford doesn't offer any housing options for ASW, right? We have to book hotel rooms?

Don't worry; there will be a hundred+ other people eating breakfast with you too! How hungover they might be is another story.Iroh wrote:This is probably a stupid question, but do people generally sign up for all of the available meals? The dinners & dessert reception seem like a must, but I don't want to show up to the breakfasts if it means I'll be eating oatmeal by myself.

Does anyone know approximately how many people Stanford admitted from the waitlist last year?

Harvard's ASW is making me so excited for my next one, which will be here... I don't know how I'm gonna choose though
hoping that either SLS just magically sucks (impossible) or else it blows my socks off. Otherwise, it's looking like a coin flip is in order!

I got an email from them today. Apparently they're waiting on some final figures from the university before they know how much aid they'll have to apportion.aboutmydaylight wrote:Anyone know around when financial aid info starts coming in?

Anyone know if there's an analysis/comparison of Stanford's LRAP to other top schools anywhere? From what I understand by reading the terms, it looks pretty weak but I'd like to see a numbers breakdown.

According to this, it seems pretty decent:gingerspice wrote:Anyone know if there's an analysis/comparison of Stanford's LRAP to other top schools anywhere? From what I understand by reading the terms, it looks pretty weak but I'd like to see a numbers breakdown.

Has anyone heard back about financial aid yet? I emailed them in mid-February and they said they were planning on reviewing files 'soon'.

Anyone else activate their SUID and successfully log into Axess, but still missing the "finance tab"? I know they said it might take 24 hours but it seems odd that one part (training/learning) of the portal would be active while another isn't showing up...

Yes. Having trouble finding anything in the Axess deal; all I can find is some 'training' section. Link at the top is also telling me that I'm a guest in the system. Very annoying. I wanna know how much debt ima be in already!!!sabrina8740 wrote:Anyone else activate their SUID and successfully log into Axess, but still missing the "finance tab"? Bumping SLS back up to the part of the page you don't have to scroll down to see.
Checking In, I will try not to reduce the collective coolness too much.
Since I really had not anticipated a SLS acceptance, I have done pretty much no research. Does most of the information (AS log in, ASW, financial, etc.) come in the acceptance packet?

Hooray, congrats! Login info for the admitted students website will be in your acceptance packet. There was no financial info in mine, but it should be coming soon, so perhaps they include it in the acceptance packet for people who are admitted later in the cycle.Nonconsecutive wrote:Bumping SLS back up to the part of the page you don't have to scroll down to see.![]()

Do the acceptance packets tend to go out fairly quickly after acceptance?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
