Re: Cornell Class of 2017
I don't know, but it's probably pretty long by this point. If you do get off it probably won't be until July or maybe even August. I would start looking off campus if I were in your shoes.vicpin5190 wrote:How long do you think the Hughes wait list is? I may throw my hat in the pool and try and just get that if there's something available. I put in a lot of energy looking for a new lease out where I'm living, so I kinda screwed myself over. Luckily I never signed a lease for the upcoming lease here, so I avoided all that red tape.

Very rarely, you will come across a law student who lives in Maplewood. Thurston? Now that's a new one. It's even farther away than Maplewood. I guess if you don't mind a really long walk. But Thurston have academic year options so you're going to end up spending a lot of money if you're not one of the few people who stay in Ithaca over 1L summer. If you live on campus anywhere, you can apply for parking permits on August 1st. It should be around $750. Not sure what lots people use in Maplewood or Thurston. Maybe ask again when finals are over and I'll have time to look this stuff up.mrCrabs wrote:Is anyone living at Maplewood?? .. Is it worth it??? or Thurston? .. Is it close enough to the Law School? Re: Cornell Class of 2017
I'm sure this has already been mentioned but it seems like everyone on the FB is living at Collegetown Terrace. What's the consensus on this? Holding out for Hughes but if it doesn't happen is this a good option if I want to be around a group of CLS students?

A late admit hoping to visit campus/Ithaca on Monday. Any recommendations on what to take a look at?

Maybe take a walk along one of the gorges? The leaves are finally coming out and the weather should be decent.BuddyHoller wrote:A late admit hoping to visit campus/Ithaca on Monday. Any recommendations on what to take a look at?

Oops, meant to say "the FB page". It should go well, it seems a lot of people not doing Hughes are doing Collegetown (specifically CT Terrace).mt2165 wrote:haha "the FB" but yeah I think I'm living in a house in collegetown, hopefully that'll go wellkoval wrote:the FB

They may have. I never received mine last year. You can tell them you never received one, and they'll probably agree to send you one. I didn't bother since the whole thing is online, and I didn't care enough about having a physical copy.surfkidwater wrote:was accepted towards late march but didn't get around to posting until now. did anyone receive the red cloth bound book yet (supposedly comes in a box that looks like a pizza box)? i was wondering if they forgot to mail me a copy. ):
