I won't be in until 10-11 PM (not sure what time zone my itinerary lists since I'm CST, come to think of it, but I'll assume EST for now) on Thursday night, so no Thursday events for me.

For flights arrival time is always in the local time zone.Serett wrote:I won't be in until 10-11 PM (not sure what time zone my itinerary lists since I'm CST, come to think of it, but I'll assume EST for now) on Thursday night, so no Thursday events for me.

I haven't flown in about a decade, and I wasn't doing the booking back then.

I wish I knew when mine changed so I could let you know for comparison, I hadn't been checking it so I'm not sure how long the status dates were gone.buffalo_ wrote:Its been > 24 hrs since my status date disappeared, but no sign of a mailing date yet...

Mine was gone for 3 or 4 days before the mailing date appeared...but that was over the weekend so I'm not sure how helpful that is.buffalo_ wrote:Its been > 24 hrs since my status date disappeared, but no sign of a mailing date yet...

Errrm. What does this Scholarship info come in? I got a package from Duke today that was like 7 different brochures in an expandable folder. Am I looking for a separate letter for scholarship info? Or should I have had a letter inside of this thing if I were going to get scholarship money?

Gotcha. Thanks! Just didn't expect to get two large packages from Duke with neither including the scholarship info.Nonconsecutive wrote:Yeah its separate from that.KatyMarie wrote:Errrm. I can relate, I found out my letter had been sent, then got the brochure package. It was a little bit of a buzzkill, even if I did find the information good.KatyMarie wrote:Gotcha. Thanks! +1 Durham COL definitely makes Duke the best financial option if you're moving and before considering merit/need-based aidlawschool22 wrote:I mean it's one of (if not the) cheapest T-14'smydasmarie wrote:is anyone else freaking out about the price tag that goes along with Duke...even with the total 60k scholly it makes me NERVOUS lol

Signing off on 200k in debt is overwhelming when one has an option for 40k for a state school degree. I understand the benefits lf a duke degree are fantastic. Im just nervous about repayment, but perhaps im one of the few :/

Very good point, just wanted to point that out. Re: Duke Class of 2017
No you're not alone. Personally, that's why Duke is so appealing to me (if they will match Northwestern's scholarship offer). For my goals a T14 is basically required, so the fact that I can go to Duke for much less than the others is pretty awesome. I think you just need to decide what your goals are, and then we can tell you whether it makes sense to take on the debt to go to a school like Duke.mydasmarie wrote:Ferraris. lolDrStudMuffin wrote:"I mean it's one of (if not the) cheapest ferraris."lawschool22 wrote:I mean it's one of (if not the) cheapest T-14'smydasmarie wrote:is anyone else freaking out about the price tag that goes along with Duke...even with the total 6im just k scholly it makes me NERVOUS lol
