This doesn't really factor into my decision either way — just interested in seeing more of the campus.
Couple of pictures of the main study area on the first floor of the library that I just took. 2nd floor is pretty much the same. Long row of large tables against the lake side windows, long row of carrells against the south side windows, warm sunny corner with soft chairs/sofas. There are more tables over on the north side of the first floor, and lots more carrells on all three floors, along interior walls. The third floor of the library has a smaller study area with a few smaller tables. As you can imagine, it gets more crowded towards finals, but while you may not get your
favorite study spot every time, I've never not been able to find
a spot, even if it's just a carrell away from the windows.
