Mine was within a week. Though I got 0 so they probably will take longer for people that actually get financial aid.

I got mine in exactly 1 month (to the day) of my acceptance

I received mine within 2 weeks. Looks like they're decently fast.

Also curious, although I haven't heard anything yet.

Heading to the train now, arriving in Philly around 7, going straight to dinner. See all you beautiful people tonight.
I'll be the white dude, about 5'11, dark hair. Hope that clears it up.

So is it normal that I got an admit phone call (like 3 weeks ago), followed by the big acceptance package thing in the mail, but no emails at all? Am I missing some communications?

You think you're getting any need based aid at Penn? My theory is they're quick to reply to those of us that aren't but they may take longer for people that actually get aid.

Also headed to the train, also arriving around 7, and excited as fuck. I'll be the one trying to make friends with everyone.
Or possibly, if you meet me tomorrow, the really hungover bitchy one. Who can say.

I was incredibly impressed. Penn has made this decision even more agonizing. It had a completely different vibe from the other schools I have been to. Obviously they were rolling out the red carpet, but they did an excellent job of selling their school simply by showing what is amazing about it.
Way to go Penn...I think anyone with Penn as an option would be wise to give it complete consideration.
It appears I might have had a sip of the kool aid, but I do still have those rose-colored asw glasses on, so take it with a mid-sized grain of salt.

Agreed with LastSamurai.
I went into this weekend with Penn as a possibility but not a very likely one, and pretty set on HLS. This was incredibly well put-together, and emphasizing the small-school aspect and having the student panels is something that other schools did not do nearly as well. Really, really impressed, if $$ works out definitely going to be a tough decision.

ASW was great and I loved Philly as well. Obviously money will make a huge difference, but if it wasn't a factor, Penn would probably be my first choice.

I had a great time! The people were great - I everyone I met was super sweet and friendly, and the panels were really well-done. I think I could be very happy at Penn, although they'd have to offer me sizable amount of $$ at this point to compete with another offer, and I don't think I have the numbers to qualify for that kind of award from Penn.

I'm glad to hear that ASW was a great experience. I didn't make it but will be attending Penn Preview next Monday. Anyone else going??
Also, I would love to hear any suggestions for restaurants/bars near campus for Sunday night

I'll be at Penn Preview. Glad I'm not the only one who couldn't make it down this weekend, but glad to hear you all had good experiences.

I thought ASW was great! The current students seemed really nice and like they genuinely liked each other. The panels were informative and I really liked the other prospective students I met. I was also somewhat surprised to meet a good number of other ED people, who were all really nice. The whole experience definitely made me feel good about my decision to choose Penn.
