If you guys are taking a cab from the airport to AA, I recommend calling yellow cab as opposed to taking the taxis at the airport. Yellow Cab costs, I believe 35 dollars, while the cabs at the airport will run you close to 60.

Yellow Cab # (734) 663-8898

Yes! I don't get in until late on Thursday, though.

How many people are they putting in hotel rooms? I'm having flashbacks to high school trips where they would book 4-5 of us in a double

Congratulations and Go Blue!

I was a summer starter (summer 2012, graduating in December) -- but I'm doing an externship this fall, so I'm moving out of my 1-bedroom apartment in May. It's really, really close to the law school and I think about half of the building's residents are law students.

Summer starters, trust me, it's *awesome* to not have to move right on the heels of your first finals. You'll want to have that time to rest and be happy. :)

Let me know if you'd like to swing by my place and see it while you're in town for ASW!

I wonder where they are actually going to have it. The itinerary says we're going to the Blue Lep, but the Blue Lep has been closed since the middle of December (I think) due to water damage from a burst pipe, and they're "shooting for early April" to reopen.

Summer & Fall Housing!

Post by jkazzaz » Tue Mar 18, 2014 7:43 pm

Hey all...you should just go ahead and send in your security deposits..it makes Dean Z very happy! (if you haven't met her yet..you should..she is the dean of admissions) Now that you've decided on MLaw (mazel tov) it's time to find housing ..eeek!...

Fret not! My apartment is available starting in the summer (looking at you summer starters...and it's all yours for next year!) If you're debating lawyers club v not lawyers club what do you get out of living in your own apartment? 1) It's cheaper 2) you get a kitchen...this week I made lots of veggies and baked granola! can't do that in the Lawyers Club!

Oh yeah, it's terrible. That block has been trashed with burst pipes twice this winter. Pinball Pete's was also trashed. :( It seems like they'll all rebuild. Also, I've heard a rumor that Blimpy's is reopening somewhere on Ashley! Waiting for it to be confirmed though.

I get so sad every time anything bad happens to pinball petes despite having not walked through those doors since I was about 10. I have actually heard the same rumor re: Blimpys!! fingers crossed it's true, we need the occasional amazingly greasy meal flush out our systems (thats how that works, right?!)
