You mean Netflix and eating because you're bored?

How shit is shit? I want to quit now, but I think about how broke I'll be in school. I'm hourly and make like 20 an hour, and I know I'd do alot for that kinda money once school starts.

As in hourly and about $10 per hour. But I'll be done soon and I don't have to pay rent right now so it could be worse I guess.

I have a little post-it on my computer with my projected debt # for whenever I start to contemplate quitting my job early. I don't make much either working for the government but rack up benefit leave pretty quickly. Can't wait to cash all that out when I depart (probably early August).

IOW -- too long from now.

That's 22 more working days. Can I make it?

Same! Put in my notice today to my employer of 3 years.
But I've been mentally checked out for about a month now. The slow down in the pace of our litigation and the fact that I've been doing similar stuff for 3 years has resulted in extreme boredom/IDGAF mentality. I spent most of today looking at google maps and reading the Supreme Court decisions/dissents.

This. I need the $$$ so I don't have to take out loans for my first year. F@#$ that compounding interest.

Can't wait!
Same situation.
End of June (thank you snow for that extremely late last day of school).
Quite excited as well!
Move along folks. Nothing to see here
Off-topic but I'd love to pick your brains: you're teachers who are leaving the profession to become lawyers? Can I ask why? I was thinking of doing that down the road. Will you ever go back to teaching once you've earned the JD or is this it? I'm curious.
I'm not in law school and don't have a full-time job right now. I'll start my first day of teaching on August 6.

Last day is August 8. Need the health insurance more than anything. The money is nice too, would love to come out of 1L year with no debt (compounding interest is a bitch). Luckily I get to spend my last month training my replacement, so it's not too bad. I just oversee him doing the work.

Friday is my last day after over a decade in the military, but I still get paid until mid-August. So pumped!
