I noticed that, haha. A bit odd. Maybe they'll still make a real Facebook group?nutsforboalt wrote:I'm also wondering this, I saw on the admitted students site a "facebook group" but it wasn't an actual facebook pageapplelover wrote:Is there a Facebook group for admitted students?
Interested in this as wellminnesotasam wrote:Does anyone have any insight on scholarships? The packet mentioned them for those who qualified, but I don't see anywhere to explore that further without contacting the office. Would I already be aware of an offer or have scholarship offers not gone out yet?
99% positive offers have not gone out yet. My impression from the website is that the first round of offers don't come in until around ASW :/.juicebox wrote:Interested in this as wellminnesotasam wrote:Does anyone have any insight on scholarships? Awesome -- thanks!brotherdarkness wrote:Hey, I'm a 2L at Berkeley. First off, congrats! Anyhow, yes, you'll be eligible for the in-state tuition due to having graduated from a California high school (speaking from personal experience). Just a heads-up, you're going to be asked for a copy of your high school transcript.oxie wrote:Really excited to be checking in here!
I grew up in California, but I don't currently live there. My understanding is that I'd be eligible for in-state tuition under AB540 because I attended and graduated from a California high school. Anyone know if that's accurate?

Got the same thing. I just skimmed it so far, but I agree. I want to go to Berkeley really pretty bad. I hope they give me enough of a scholarship offer to make it make sense for me to go.rule615 wrote:I just got a rather long email from the professor who acts as Director of the environmental law program (I specified that I am interested in environmental law on my application). Pretty impressive on Berkley's part.
Almost 100% sure it's just the one, but someone correct me if I'm wrong!Samsing wrote:Does Berkeley only have 1 ASW? I really want to go to Berkeley's ASW but it overlaps with other ones.

Nope, $300 subsidy for out of state.Theopliske8711 wrote:ASW for Berkeley is full out of pocket, right? I'd love a nice Cali weekend.
I'm in the same boat and from what I've heard, unfortunately no. But do share if you somehow find a way to solicit more money!canes14 wrote:Checking in!!
Is Berkeley at all flexible on the travel stipend for ASW? I couldn't be further away and plane tickets are already much more than 300...

April 10-13. Good luck!omzster67 wrote:When is the ASW?
I haven't been admitted... and honestly not too confident that I will. However I'll be visiting another school in California for one of their ASW's and I would like to try to coordinate it just in case a miracle happens. I live across the country so I want to plan ahead just to mitigate any potential costs.
Thanks. Congrats to all of you!!
