Any ideas on negotiating scholarships with Duke? When/How to go about it? Received a great offer, but it falls short of UVA etc.

Scholarship received in the mail today! Sent out 3/13. Very excited about the offer. Found myself a little dissapointed I haven't received a t-shirt though...

Accepted in mid-November and my forms were received near the end of the first week of Feb.

I was wondering about negotiating scholarships as well, even though I don't have much leverage since Penn and Virginia put me on the waitlist.

3.58/172 and 72k. Happy but they gave me less than Michigan...I might try to squeeze a little more but don't want to seem ungrateful! Want to go ahead and hear about $$ from everyone so I can start playing the negotiation game!

Duke sent me a scholarship letter in the mail just to say that I they could not give me any money. Kinda a bummer, but I expected it given my stats.

I am hoping I can convince them my 3.85 undergrad gpa is what they should base my scholarship off of instead of the 3.72 that LSDAS has me down for. (still mad they count early college experience credits that aren't on your transcript"

Got my offer yesterday as well, low $70s.

Pretty happy with it. There's (hopefully) also some room to negotiate. If I can get this up into the $90ish+ range, it would make Duke hard to turn down.

It should be listed as "Scholarship decision mailed" under "Mailings" on the left hand side of your status checker (assuming they've sent anything).

Got my letter today, too. 170/4.0 KJD, $75k.
