It was the UT Law page itself, not the FB group.

Last year UT had 9 TLSers. I don't like this downward trend, very alarming. Droves, etc.

I'm guessing nonresidents will end up with about $0 again?Dean Ingram wrote:We are in the process of releasing law school grant aid. If we can't get free money, we should at least get free "law horns" shirts or something.

We will probably get free shirts at orientation, that's how they did it for undergrad.Will_McAvoy wrote:Bastards.cannibal ox wrote:I'm guessing nonresidents will end up with about $0 again?Dean Ingram wrote:We are in the process of releasing law school grant aid. I hope it says something like:
"I moved across the country to be here and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt (and no grant)"

Yeah it was something like 30 degrees for a while yesterday. Is it even worth bringing a jacket to Texas? Do you guys even know what a jacket is?

It gets cold during the winter, 30s, when you first get here in august you won't believe that cause it will be 90/100 for first couple of months.cannibal ox wrote:Yeah it was something like 30 degrees for a while yesterday. Does Texas abide by the "you only get to complain about one season" rule? Because I've always chosen winter for my season to bitch about, but that may need to change.

Bro, there was a 75 day stretch this winter where we didn't hit 20. And I'm in a warmer place than Ox.

When I first move to Austin we hit 100+, 90 straight days. However, I've been to Colorado and the 20/30 here is much colder here. I hate winter, heat isn't too bad.Will_McAvoy wrote:Bro, there was a 75 day stretch this winter where we didn't hit 20. And I'm in a warmer place than Ox.

Can someone familiar with Texas cities rank the major cities in terms of which is hottest/coldest? I'm curious.

Re: Texas Class of 2017
Honestly you wouldn't be familiar with the hottest cities. They are all border cities like McAllen. Houston is a little cooler off of pure temp however humidity is awful. West Texas is a lot cooler than gets portrayed in the media. Coldest is Dallas there is actual snow there, sometimes. I'd probably go Austin/San Antonio, Houston, and then Dallas.cannibal ox wrote:Can someone familiar with Texas cities rank the major cities in terms of which is hottest/coldest? I'm curious.
